Recently, China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNMIA) held the conference of 2023 Top 50 Nonferrous Metals Enterprises. Huayou Cobalt was ranked 25th in the 2023 Top 50 Non-ferrous Metal Enterprises in terms of business revenue, 14th in the net profit list, and 6th in the overseas assets list, all advancing by one rank compared with the previous year.

In 2023, the bottom line of the Top 50 Non-ferrous Metal Enterprises in terms of operating income exceeded CNY 24.5 billion. For the whole year, the top 50 non-ferrous metal enterprises realised a combined operating income of CNY 6.2 trillion, up 4.7% year-on-year, accounting for about 78.5% of the operating income realised by enterprises above designated size, an increase of 2.9 percentage points compared with that of 2022. In 2023, the top 50 non-ferrous metal enterprises ranked in terms of net profit totalled CNY 198.1 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 17.0%, but all of the top 50 enterprises realised a profit.
