On January 13th, Jiaxing’s Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor Hairong Yan visited the group headquarters for research and guidance. President Hongliang Chen warmly received him.
At the exhibition hall of Huayou Cobalt's R&D building, Yan Hairong and his team listened in detail to introductions about Huayou’s development history, scientific and technological innovation achievements, global layout, as well as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) construction. They gave full recognition to the rapid development and innovative achievements that Huayou has made in recent years.
He encouraged Huayou to remain confident, plan for the long term, and firmly grasp market development trends; actively cultivate and attract talent, gathering more professionals to support high-quality enterprise development; innovate business models to enhance corporate innovation and competitiveness, aiming for a strong start and striving to achieve a “good beginning” in the first quarter. Governments at all levels and relevant departments should further optimize the environment for enterprise development, fully ensure the elements needed for enterprise projects, focus on solving difficulties faced by enterprises, and fully support enterprises in achieving better and faster development in Jiaxing.
President Chen mentioned that 2025 is not only the year when the "14th Five-Year Plan" comes to an end but also the planning year for the "15th Five-Year Plan". It is a year of harvest where Huayou aims to complete ten years' worth of tasks within five years and achieve even greater results. On the new journey of the "15th Five-Year Plan", Huayou will adhere to its established strategy without wavering, strengthen headquarters economy and industries, turning the headquarters into a peak of scientific and technological innovation and a highland for talent development. It will continue to leverage its integrated industrial advantages, enhance international operational capabilities, uphold the philosophy of customer-centricity and value creation, steadily promote high-quality company development, shoulder significant responsibilities for major economic cities, and make greater contributions to writing a new chapter of modernization in Jiaxing.
