On May 9th, the symposium titled "Five Years of Hard Work, Joining Hands to Build the Future: Deepening Strategic Cooperation and Promoting Win-Win Development" was held in Nanning. Yulin's Party Secretary Wang Chen and Mayor Zhang Huiqiang met with Chairman Chen Xuehua of Huayou Holding Group, who is also an Honorary Citizen of Yulin City, along with his delegation, to discuss cooperation and development.

Wang Chen and Zhang Huiqiang reviewed the five-year construction journey of Huayou’s lithium battery project in Yulin, expressing gratitude for Huayou's significant support towards Yulin's development and outlined future directions for collaboration. They highlighted that under the high attention and strong backing of the regional party committee and government, the Huayou lithium battery project started in 2020 and has achieved remarkable results through close cooperation between local governments and enterprises. Three Huayou-affiliated companies were listed among the top 100 manufacturing enterprises in Guangxi in 2024, marking a significant milestone in the new energy materials industry and setting a brilliant chapter in the construction of modern industrial bases. With a strong momentum and promising prospects, Yulin looks forward to deepening its partnership with Huayou, consolidating development consensus, pooling more resources, and jointly building a world-class lithium battery town. This initiative aims to inject powerful impetus into Yulin's high-quality development and set a model for local-government cooperation in Guangxi's modernization efforts. They committed to solving problems swiftly, improving services effectively, and ensuring higher standards to fully support Huayou’s investment projects in Yulin, aiming to achieve greater production capacity and benefits, and collectively painting a magnificent vision where "the world views China for lithium battery materials, and China looks at Guangxi."

Chen Xuehua expressed his thanks to the Yulin municipal party committee and government for their full support of the Huayou lithium battery project and introduced the situation of Huayou. As an Honorary Citizen of Yulin, he stated his pride in Yulin's achievements and confidence in the city's development. He emphasized that Huayou remains steadfast in its positioning, strategic development direction, and advancement pace, promoting the high-quality construction of the Huayou lithium battery project to contribute to Yulin's economic and social development.

After the symposium, Wang Chen, Zhang Huiqiang, and Chen Xuehua exchanged commemorative gifts on behalf of both sides. Additionally, Zhang Huiqiang chaired a meeting focused on the construction of the Huayou lithium battery project, discussing key issues faced by the project, proposing solutions, and promoting the implementation of more cooperative outcomes to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
