On August 15th, Huayou Cobalt held the launch meeting for its "15th Five-Year" ESG Strategic Plan and an ESG special training session at the company headquarters. The meeting focused on the profound changes and challenges in global ESG policies, aiming to scientifically integrate ESG concepts into the company's core DNA. This initiative is designed to drive Huayou to seize opportunities amid global industrial restructuring and the evolution of economic globalization 2.0, positioning the company as a responsible benchmark in the new energy materials industry. President Chen Hongliang attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

"ESG is not an optional 'extra question,' but a 'must-answer question' concerning survival and development; it is not a 'supporting strategy' for business operations, but a 'core strategy' that leads the future," said President Chen. He emphasized that the world is undergoing unprecedented changes, and the acceleration of Economic Globalization 2.0 has made ESG the 'common language' and 'entry threshold' for sustainable corporate development. Currently, Huayou is transitioning from "China Huayou" to "World Huayou," and building global competitiveness cannot be achieved without the support of ESG soft power. Huayou aims to integrate ESG strategies to evolve from a "rule follower" to a "practical leader," striving to become an ESG benchmark in the industry during its internationalization process. President Chen stressed that ESG work is a shared responsibility across the entire company. We must elevate our perspective, take initiative, focus on practice to solve problems, and persist in the long term.
